Creator Bio
Daniel Cooney is an experienced comics writer and illustrator of such books as Valentine, Writing and Illustrating The Graphic Novel, The Tommy Gun Dolls and The Atomic Yeti. A film option on his crime fiction series, Valentine is currently in production by C2 Entertainment. A prose fiction book about assassin Dana Valentine based on an unpublished story by Dan Cooney & written by author Noel Hynd (Ghosts, Conspiracy In Kiev) is currently being developed with WME.
Cooney has established himself as an illustrator for various book publishers, and licensed properties of comics, television and film who currently resides on Martha’s Vineyard, MA with his wife and their son Dashiell. Cooney is an instructor for The Academy of Art University teaching writing and drawing comics for six years now.
